We earn a commission

When you book a trip through a link on this site, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is the operator’s price; nothing is added for us. Links to Viator and GetYourGuide carry a tracking code that tells them the booking came from here.

What we are not

We are not the tour operators, we are not the guides’ associations in Banaue or Batad, and we are not the municipal tourism office or the Ifugao provincial government. We do not run vehicles, employ guides, collect fees or set prices. Bookings, changes and refunds are handled entirely by the operator you book with.

Operators cannot pay for placement

No operator can buy a position on this site, a badge, or a place in the featured three. Ordering is by review volume, rating and how well a trip answers a particular question, and the badges are measurable claims: the best-seller badge goes to the trip carrying the highest review count, the top-rated badge to a five-star trip with real volume behind it, and the best-value badge to the cheapest fare.

Refund windows are the operator’s, and they differ

Half the trips listed here refund in full 24 hours before departure. Two require three days’ notice, two require six days, and one is non-refundable for any reason once booked. Those are the operators’ own terms, reproduced as they publish them, and they are the reason this site carries no site-wide free-cancellation claim.

Prices, ratings and figures drift

Prices, star ratings, review counts and inclusions shown here are the operators’ own figures, captured from their live listings on 27 August 2026 and refreshed periodically. They change without notice. Treat every figure on this site as indicative and the operator’s own booking page as authoritative at the moment you pay.

Facts about the terraces

Statements about the terraces themselves — the World Heritage inscription, which clusters it covers, the years on the List of World Heritage in Danger, and the hudhud chants — are drawn from the UNESCO World Heritage Centre and the UNESCO intangible-heritage record. Where the age of the terraces is concerned, two well-supported figures exist and this site gives both: UNESCO’s description of a tradition reaching back two millennia, and the radiocarbon dating published by the Ifugao Archaeological Project. Where an operator’s listing and an official source disagree, the official source wins and we say so.
